છેલ્લા બે વર્ષમાં ધોરણ-૧૧ અને ૧૨ વિજ્ઞાન પ્રવાહની પરીક્ષા પદ્ધતિમાં જડમૂળથી ફેરફારો થયા છે. સેમેસ્ટર પદ્ધતિ રદ થવાની સાથે જ પ્રકરણવાર ગુણભાર અને પ્રશ્નપત્ર માળખામાં ઘણો બદલાવ કરાયો છે. જે અંતર્ગત છેલ્લા ઘણા સમયથી શિક્ષકો અને વિદ્યાર્થીઓમાં ચાલી રહેલી મૂંઝવણો બાદ હવે ગુજરાત રાજ્ય શિક્ષણબોર્ડે આગામી સપ્ટેમ્બર માસમાં લેવાનારી પરીક્ષાના પ્રશ્નપત્રનું માળખું જાહેર કર્યું છે. જેમાં ૫૦ ટકા એમસીક્યુ પૂછવાની સાથે જ ધોરણ-૧૧માં પ્રથમ અને દ્ધિતીય કસોટીમાં ૨૫ માર્ક્સના એમસીક્યુ પૂછવામાં આવશે. તેમજ ધોરણ-૧૧માં ૫૦ માર્ક્સની પરીક્ષા માટે ૨ કલાકનો સમય ફાળવવામાં આવશે.

શિક્ષણ બોર્ડે ધોરણ-૧૧ની પ્રથમ, દ્ધિતીય કસોટી અને ધોરણ-૧૨ની પ્રથમ પરીક્ષા માટે વેબસાઇટ પર પ્રશ્નપત્ર માળખું જાહેર કર્યું છે. જે મુજબ, ધોરણ-૧૧ પ્રથમ અને દ્ધિતીય કસોટીનું ફિઝિક્સ, કેમેસ્ટ્રી, બાયોલોજી અને મેથ્સનું પ્રશ્રપત્ર બે ભાગમાં વહેંચાયેલું રહેશે. પ્રશ્નપત્રનું ૫૦ માર્ક્સનું ભારણ હોવાની સાથે જ વિદ્યાર્થીઓને બે કલાકનો સમયગાળો આપવામાં આવશે. તેમાં પાર્ટ-એ એમસીક્યુનો રહેશે. જેના જવાબો ઓએમઆર સીટમાં આપવાના રહેશે. પાર્ટ-બી વિષયલક્ષી રહેશે અને તેના જવાબો ઉત્તરવહીમાં લખવાના રહેશે. બંને પાર્ટનું ૨૫-૨૫ માર્ક્સનું ભારણ રહેવાની સાથે જ પાર્ટ-બીમાં સેક્શન-એમાં બે ગુણના ૬ પ્રશ્નો, સેક્શન-બીમાં ત્રણ ગુણના ત્રણ પ્રશ્નો અને સેક્સન-સીમાં ચાર ગુણનો એક પ્રશ્ન પૂછાશે.

આ સિવાય ધોરણ-૧૨ની પ્રથમ પરીક્ષાનું ૧૦૦ માર્ક્સનું ગુણભાર રહેશે અને તે માટે વિદ્યાર્થીઓને ત્રણ કલાકનો સમયગાળો આપવામાં આવશે. તેમાં ૫૦ ટકા પ્રમાણે ૫૦ માર્ક્સના એમસીક્યુ પૂછવામાં આવશે. બોર્ડે આ સાથે જ પ્રકરણ પ્રમાણેનું ભારણ પણ જાહેર કર્યું છે. આમ, પરીક્ષાના દિવસો નજીક છે ત્યારે પ્રશ્રપત્ર માળખું જાહેર કરતા વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ રાહતનો દમ લીધો છે.
